Abstract:
The development of optical elements enabling the versatile manipulation of light fields via geometrical principles, which finds its root in the optical spin-orbit interaction, attracted continued interest during the last two decades.
This has led to the advent of a few user-friendly spin-orbit solutions to generate structured light with predetermined spin and orbital angular momentum content, possibly in a reconfigurable manner.
1 will present our recent progresses dealing with how the coupling between the polarization state of light and spatial rotations allows considering single-step spin-orbit beam shoping strategies with an emphasis on spatial modes and polychromatic fields towards spatiotem poral shoping of optical pulses.
