Isolateur optocoupleur (anglais)

Isolateur optocoupleur (anglais)

Project title: Isolator

CEA collaborators: SPEC

External collaborators: C2N

Project status: First prototype assembled in 2020, first prototype delivered in 2021, three prototypes completed by the end of 2023.

Keywords: high impedance, isolation, very low noise, graphene sensor, graphene FET component, isolated analog measurement

The objective is to design an electronic board to isolate a low-noise bipolar measurement, based on a scientific article. After assembling a first non-functional prototype, two other prototypes were designed and tested to experimentally validate the proper operation of the isolation.

In order to measure weak signals (a few mV in amplitude at low frequency) but with very high impedance, the C2N laboratory needed an electronic system to isolate the electrical measurement using a very high-impedance stage (several teraohms).
