Study and optimization of the interface properties of NiFe2O4/BaTiO3 multiferroic heterostructures and resorption of a magnetically dead layer
A collaboration of scientists gathered around the MULTINANO ANR project led by IRAMIS/SPEC/LNO has studied the magnetic properties of NiFe₂O₄ thin films associated with BaTiO₃ layers, in multiferroic heterostructures. Their results reveal the origin of magnetization loss at low thicknesses, and propose a simple method to restore the desired magnetic arrangement.
