Modeling and Theory Group

The activity of the group covers different fields ranging from mesoscopic physics to electronic, magnetic and transport properties at the nanometer-scale in nanostructures, 2D materials, metal/organic interfaces and topological insulators.

One of the characteristics of GMT is its close interaction with experimental teams. Most of the studies are either done in collaboration with experimental groups to model physical systems or driven by fundamental considerations but with the aim of predicting new interesting phenomena or materials.
