The 2024 Émergence Marc Julia prize from the Organic Chemistry Division of the Sociétée Chimique de France (SCF) has been awarded to Lucile Anthore-Dalion from UMR NIMBE. This prize is intended for young researchers who have defended their thesis within the last 6 years.
Lucile Anthore-Dalion obtained her PhD in 2016 under the supervision of Pr Samir Zard at École Polytechnique on the subject:“Radical approach to the alkylation of ketones“. In 2018, she joined the LCMCE team, led by Thibault Cantat, at UMR NIMBE at CEA Saclay as a post-doctoral fellow. Since October 2019, she has been a CNRS research fellow in the same laboratory. Her current research focuses on the activation and reduction of N-O bonds, ester activation and radical chemistry. In particular, she has been awarded an ANR JCJC in 2021 to develop “Carboaminations by transfer using O-acylated hydroxylamines“.
Congratulations to the young researcher on her award.
