On May 30th 2024, clearance to open the beam has been granted to Sharper (Spectromètre Hybride Alpes Région Parisienne Etendu en Résolution) . It is the new LLB CRG at the ILL. Sharper is a cutting edge focussing time of flight, cold, time ond monochromatic spectrometer. First user friendly experiments are expected by mid June.
