The INFRA group provides support to the other LLB groups for instrumental developments linked to their scientific programmes. It also brings together the ‘project-teams’ for the development of instruments for the major European instruments (ESS, Collaborating Research Group-CRG (@ ILL and PSI) as well as a prototype of the Icone compact source, designed to replace neutron lines from research nuclear reactors, etc.). Monitoring covers the entire duration of the projects, taking charge of the conception, design and production phases of the neutron scattering instruments and associated instrumentation.
