ERC "Starting grants" attribuées à Romain Geneaux du LIDYL et Emmanuel Flurin du SPEC.
Succès à l'IRAMIS avec l'attribution de deux ERC "Starting grants" 2021 à :
- Romain Geneaux du LIDYL, pour le projet "SPINFIELD - Controlling spin angular momentum with the field of light", qui a pour objectif d'étudier l’interaction entre la lumière et le spin des électrons,
- et Emmanuel Flurin du SPEC, pour le projet "INGENIOUS - Single microwave photon detection for hybrid quantum information processing and quantum enhanced sensing" qui vise à développer un détecteur de photons micro-ondes unique, pour la détection de spins d'électrons paramagnétiques individuels pour des applications d'informatique quantique et de détection quantique, et la recherche de l'un des principaux candidats à la matière noire, les axions.

Success at IRAMIS with the award of two ERC "Starting grants" 2021 to:
- Romain Geneaux from LIDYL, for the project "SPINFIELD - Controlling spin angular momentum with the field of light", which aims to study the interaction between light and electron spin,
- and Emmanuel Flurin from SPEC, for the project "INGENIOUS - Single microwave photon detection for hybrid quantum information processing and quantum enhanced sensing", which aims to develop a unique microwave photon detector, for the detection of individual paramagnetic electron spins for quantum computing and quantum detection applications, and the search for one of the main candidates for dark matter, the axions.
