A proactive approach
The IRAMIS Partnerships and Valorization Unit supports the Institute’s teams in setting up partnerships and valorizing their research work. It helps to :
- Raise researchers’ awareness of valorization, technology transfer and intellectual property
- Support teams in setting up collaborative research or valorization projects, in line with societal challenges
- Assess the potential for valorizing research results to identify areas of application and potentially interested industrial players
- Promote IRAMIS’ research skills and instrumental platforms at national and European level
- Establish industrial partnerships for technology transfer
Each collaboration is a special case, and the unit aims to propose the most appropriate scheme:
- National or European collaborative programs (ANR, PEPR, Horizon Europe…)
- R&D contracts with industry
- Transfer of patented technologies, via licensing of know-how or patent exploitation
- Joint research laboratories
- Support for start-ups
