Thermogravimetric analysis at LEDNA

Thermogravimetric analysis at LEDNA

Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) is used to monitor changes in the mass of a product as a function of time and temperature. LEDNA has 2 thermogravimetric analysis instruments with different characteristics:

ATG “TA TGA 55”.

Max. temperature = 1000°C.

Programmable temperature increase rate 0.1 to 100°C/min

Air and argon atmosphere measurements

ATG/DSC “NETZSCH STA449c

This TGA enables the measurement of sample mass variation and associated thermal effects between 25 and 1650°C (thermogravimetric analysis and differential scanning calorimetry (GTA/DSC))

  • Max. temperature = 1650°C
  • T° rise rate = 0.1 – 50°C/min
  • Atmosphere: Ar, air, vacuum or any type of gas
  • Balance resolution = 0.1µg
  • Sample mass = 2 mg to 5 g
