On July 22, 2025, CEA-Iramis had the pleasure of welcoming students from the International Physics Olympiad (IPhO France) for an immersive visit to its research laboratories with guided tours through several labs at LIDYL and SPEC (UMR CEA-CNRS).
The students had the chance to discover physics in action, engage in discussions with researchers, and ask questions about scientific careers, research topics, and life in the lab.
This initiative is part of a broader scientific and educational momentum: with France hosting the 2025 IPhO and the ongoing International Year of Quantum Science and Technology, these visits help promote research and foster meaningful dialogue between science and society.
It was a valuable moment of exchange, an opportunity to share knowledge, curiosity, and perhaps inspire future vocations in physics.
