The 2026 PhD Thesis Prize of the French Neutron Society (SFN), worth €1,500, is open for applications until May 15, 2026, for those who defended their thesis between January 1, 2024, and December 31, 2025, at a French institution.
This prize recognizes a thesis in which neutron scattering has provided significant insights (in terms of understanding, and/or novelty, etc.).
Applications should be submitted on the SFN website, where you will find all the necessary information. The two-year period allows candidates who were not selected in 2025 to resubmit their applications.
Sincerely, Guillaume Sudre.
