The next 2FDN call for proposal on the French CRGs beamtime at ILL is open.
Under this call, beamtime requests may be submitted on the following seven CRGs instruments: D1B, D23, IN12, IN22, IN13, SAM, and SHARPER.
The deadline for submission is March 15th, 2025, at 23:59 (French time). Please note that only French teams or collaborations including French partners are eligible to apply.
The proposals must be submitted via the new Phoenix proposal portal at: https://phoenix.2fdn.fr/auth/login :
- Please create an account on the new Phoenix portal using the same e-mail address asthe one you use for the user club of the ILL.
- The pdf file containing the scientific description of your proposal must be 2 pages long.
- For proposals on SAM, the local contact list is currently being updated. The two instrument scientists, Lorenzo Mettili and Mariano Paulin, will appear shortly under the “Local Contacts” menu.
Please note that 2FDN will reimburse two users per experiment accepted for this call (See the documents in the paragraph “Remboursement des utilisateurs”).
