A collaborative review by LIONS contributors highlights NIMBE’s pioneering role in micro- and milli-fluidic sampling for in-situ X-ray analysis

The LIONS is proud to announce the publication of a comprehensive review on the utilization of micro- and milli-fluidic devices for X-ray analysis in the chemical and materials sciences. This pivotal work, which involves several key contributors from LIONS, sheds light on the significant advancements and applications of these cutting-edge technologies.

A notable highlight from the review is the substantial contribution of NIMBE researchers to this field. Out of 139 papers analyzed—representing nearly the entirety of the global literature on the topic—10% originated from current or former NIMBE researchers, specifically from LIONS, LICSEN, and LAPA. This underscores NIMBE’s leading role in advancing micro- and milli-fluidic X-ray analysis.
