This workshop is organized by the LLB. It will take place from monday April 7th at 1:30pm to tuesday April 8th at 5:00pm at the FIAP Jean Monnet rue Cabanis in Paris.

ELENA is organising a workshop dedicated to the instrumentation around CANS and HiCANS neutron sources in partnership with LLB and ICONE project. The scope of the meeting covers neutron techniques such as elastic and inelastic neutron scattering, as well as neutron analytical techniques. Transverse aspects such as optics and choppers will also be discussed. The workshop aims at having discussions around choices, both scientific and technical made by different teams to optimize instruments towards specific capabilities.
A first half day shall be dedicated to sharing the current status of reflexion around instruments around various CANS or HiCANS projects.
A second half day shall be dedicated to more transverse topics such as collaborations on specific instruments, capabilities of modern modelling tools, general technical challenges such as guide or chopper systems etc…
