
The ACM – Association for Computing Machinery, awards the Gordon Bell 2022 Prize to a team of 16 members from French, Japanese and American institutions for their project entitled “Pushing the Frontier in the Design of Laser-Based Electron Accelerators With Groundbreaking Mesh-Refined Particle-In-Cell Simulations on Exascale-Class Supercomputers“.
Henri Vincenti, Luca Fedeli, Neïl Zaim and Thomas Clark from the PHI research group of the CEA-IRAMIS/LIDYL, with France Boillod-Cerneaux from CEA/DRF and Adrien Leblanc from CNRS/LOA, make up the award-winning French team.
