Within the CEA, the Iramis institute is a partner in the European Research Infrastructures project “RISEnergy”, which gathers European companies, research organizations, universities and funding agencies (69 beneficiaries from 23 countries), with the aim of developing new concepts and efficient technologies in the field of renewable energy, while jointly improving their performance and cost, and :
- offer proactive innovation management, with a single point of entry and tailored access routes for academics, industry and SMEs,
- advising Research & Innovation providers, all access Users and policy makers on Life Cycle Assessment – LCA, ICT development and networking issues;
- provide efficient transnational access (TNA) to research and analysis infrastructures, with over 2,500 days of access to major European and international analytical facilities;
- reach all stakeholders involved in research along the entire value chain, from materials and technology development to applications in the eight most relevant fields of PV, CSP/STE , hydrogen, biofuels, offshore wind, ocean energy, integrated grids, and energy storage, research infrastructure providers and policy makers.
