This talk is focused on the evaporation, in normal ambient conditions, of sessile droplets of various HFE liquids, which are pure, perfectly-wetting and volatile, with low thermal conductivity and high vapor density. These properties affect many aspects concerning droplet evaporation such as evaporation rate, evaporation-induced contact angles, contact line pinning and thermally-induced Marangoni flows, all of which are studied both experimentally and theoretically.
