Sharper : un spectromètre « à temps de vol » opérationnel

The Léon Brillouin Laboratory (LLB) holds the French expertise in neutron science and associated instrumentation. The LLB has been engaged in the upgrading of the IN6 line through a CRG type A contract. (SHARP project: “Spectromètre Hybride Alpes Région Parisienne”), for which the LLB was in charge of building a new Sharp spectrometer (successor to the Mi-bemol spectrometer at the Orphée reactor). The instrument was built and installed during the ILL shutdown in 2019 (and the COVID pandemic in 2020). SHARP was moved to the end of the new H15 guide and became SHARPER.
Bravo à l’équipe, qui a su tenir sur une période si difficile, les délais prévus !
