
Optica has announced its 2026 class of Fellows. Among the 121 members recognized this year is Thierry Ruchon, researcher at the Laboratoire Interactions, Dynamiques et Lasers – LIDYL.
Optica Fellows are selected for their outstanding contributions to the advancement of optics and photonics, across fields ranging from research and engineering to education and service to the community.
Thierry Ruchon is honored “for pioneering discoveries on angular momentum transfer in high harmonic generation, bringing structured light into the attosecond science toolbox.”
