International (non-French) researchers and research groups, primarily from the EU and EU associated states, who wish to carry out scientific experiments at LIDYL for short periods (1 to 4 weeks typically) are welcome to apply at any time for access through the Transnational Access Programme of Laserlab Europe.

Proposals are evaluated by external referees and approved by an external selection panel, scientific excellence being the main evaluation criterion. Approved access is provided free of charge, and includes travel and accommodation for the users.
