Hybrid quantum optomechanics : a single spin coupled to a nano-oscillator

Interfacing a mechanical resonator with a purely quantum object is a promising route
toward the generation of macroscopic non-classical states. We consider here an hybrid
system composed of a single NV spin qubit coupled to a nano-resonator. The theore-
tical framework of the coupling mechanism will be detailed and the rst experimental
signatures of the coupled dynamics will be presented.
