Task 4: Theoretical aspects of nonlinear interaction of matter with OAM’s


This task will build on current knowledge and tools acquired over the last decade in our laboratory to model HHG and ATI. The codes that are now available and fully tested are state of the art SFA+propagation codes with cylindrical symmetry on the one hand, 3D-Time Dependent Schrödinger Equation (TDSE) on the other hand. Besides, Thierry Auguste has lately started developing a full 4D code to study HHG non-cylindrically symmetric problems. A preliminary and non-optimized version of it was for instance used in [Camper2014, Kim2013]. This will serve as a basis for the developments undertaken in this project.
