Arrival by plane

The Paris area has two international airports: Roissy Charles-de-Gaulle (CDG) and Orly (ORY):
  • From Orly aiport take the Orly Val direction Antony until Antony. Take there the RER B direction St Rémy-les-Chevreuse until Le Guichet (about 45 min from Orly).
  • From Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport take the RER B direction St Rémy-lès-Chevreuse until Le Guichet (about 1 hour 15 min).
Once at the stop Le Guichet, take the bus 9 to "Orme des Merisiers" (10 minutes ride, interval between buses 10 to 20 minutes). Timetables here (enter line:"9", departure point: "GARE DU GUICHET, Orsay").

Arrival by train

From anywhere in Paris take the appropriate metro lines to reach the RER B and then take the direction St Rémy-les-Chevreuse.
  • Solution 1: get out at Massy Palaiseau, and take the bus 91.06 (B or C) or 91.10 till the "Orme des Merisiers" stop (20 minutes ride, very frequent buses in the morning and in the evening). Map of bus stops at Massy-Palaiseau here. Timetables here.
  • Solution 2: get out at Le Guichet, and take the bus 9 to "Orme des Merisiers" (10 minutes ride, interval between buses 10 to 20 minutes). Timetables here (enter line:"9", departure point: "GARE DU GUICHET, Orsay").


In the campus

Once at the bus stop "Orme des merisiers", enter the "Orme des merisiers" campus, go straight on for approximately 5 minutes and turn on your right at the end of the road. The Claude Bloch Amphitheater is located in the building 772.
