French-Swedish School: X-ray and neutron scattering for life science
Mar. 11th 2024 to Mar. 15th 2024
Lund, Sweden

FASEM2024 is a French-Swedish advanced school organized in Lund, Sweden, from March 11 to 15, 2024, for doctoral students, postdoctoral fellows, and researchers in Life Sciences, who wish to discover or deepen structural X-ray and neutron scattering techniques, from experimentation (diffraction, small-angle scattering, reflectivity) to complete and in-depth analysis of data, based on modeling approaches.

The 5-day school will include lectures and tutorials, a poster session, group work sessions, as well as visits to the MAX-IV synchrotron and the future European spallation neutron source ESS. List of speakers and scientific program.

Registration fees, including registration, accommodation, and lunches, are reduced to only 100 € and grants can be requested for transport costs, particularly for participants from outside Sweden. Registration, accommodation, and transport costs for CNRS (France) staff will be fully covered.

Priority will be given to participants from French and Swedish laboratories but the school is also open to participants from other countries depending on places available (30 maximum). Registrations open very soon. To apply, please send, before February 10, 2024, a CV and a short cover letter (follow the link).
