July 8-12 : ATTO 2013, International Conference on Attosecond Physics

The 4^th edition of the Attosecond Physics Conference, ATTO2013 will be held this year in PARIS, France, from Monday 8 till Friday 12 july 2013.
. This conference is jointly organised by teams from the IRAMIS/SPAM, CELIA-Bordeaux and LCPMR-Paris (co-Chairs : Pascal Salières (IRAMIS/SPAM) et Eric Constant (CELIA-Bordeaux) ). It  ATTO2013 will cover all aspects of Attosecond Physics from sources and metrology to applications. It will include the following research topics: Few-cycle laser pulse generation and applications.

1. Single attosecond pulse generation and characterization
2. High harmonic spectroscopy
3. Electronic and nuclear dynamics in strong fields
4. Ultrafast phenomena on the attosecond and femtosecond timescales
5. New sources and applications of coherent ultrafast X-rays (XFELs...)

As a related event to ATTO2013, a special Symposium will be held in the afternoon of Monday 8 to honor the many scientific achievements of two pioneers in the field of attosecond science, Pierre Agostini and Alfred Maquet.
