Project SPINFIELD: "Controlling spin angular momentum with the field of light"
How do light fields couple with electronic spins in materials? Are there direct and coherent "light-spin" interactions? We aim to answer these questions through the use of attosecond spectroscopy. See announcement by the ERC and short summary on the LIDYL website.
2020 – 2022 Junior Chair of the Labex PALM (Laboratoire d'excellence Physique Atome Lumière Matière: website here)
Project MARMOTT: "Measuring Attosecond-resolved dynamics in MOTT insulators".
Some materials present unusually strong electronic correlations, which play a major role in their properties. Because electron-electron interactions typically manifest in only a few femtoseconds, we want to study these materials with attosecond spectroscopy and understand how electronic correlations manifests in their time-domain response.
