   is a group of

SLIC European Access

Any researcher affiliated to a research institution located in a Member State (*) of the European Union or in one of the Associated Countries (**) can apply to get free access to SLIC installations for short periods (1 to 4 weeks typically). This opportunity is offered through the current Transnational Access Programme of the LASERLAB-EUROPE consortium of Infrastructures funded by the Seventh Framework Programme of the European Commission. SLIC is involved in European Transnational Access programs since 2003 and is a member of LASERLAB-EUROPE since 2004. To date, SLIC has provided 850 days of European Access to about 130 visitors. Within the current LASERLAB-EUROPE contract (06/2012 to 12/2015), SLIC provides on average 50 access days per year.   

(*) Member States: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom.

(**) Associated Countries: Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Faroe Islands, Iceland, Israel, Liechtenstein, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Norway, Serbia, Switzerland and Turkey.
