Applications, Fees, Registration, FAQ's
  •  Why applying ?
The ASI participants are limited up to a maximum number of 80 persons, to comply with the twofold constraint of accomodation capacity of the IESC and NATO ASI rules. Moreover, the latter recommend the participation be equilibrated so that reasonable chances to attend be given to applicants from NATO countries, partner and other countries.

Excepted Invited Lecturers, potential participants are kindly asked to apply by filling online the application form or by contacting the members of the organizing committee.

  • Acceptance
The organizing committee will examine applications received before the deadline (June 29, 2007, information about important dates can be seen here) by July 2, 2007, inform successful applicants and establish a waiting list. All applicants will receive information at this stage via e-mail.

Successful applicants should pay the registration fees applying to each of them (see below), inform the organizers by e-mail about their travel arrangements and plan their arrival at IESC on Monday September 24, 2007. A private bus service will be available from the Ajaccio main airport to Cargese with a time schedule fixed on the latest by August 31, 2007 here.
  • Who is paying fees and why
The cost of this ASI amounts euro 800 per person for its whole duration and covers accommodation, lunch, coffee-breaks and organisational expenses. Breakfast and dinner are not offered (see here).

Financial support from NATO Science for Peace and Security program and other sponsors reduces this amount to euro 300 for participants from academic and research institutions from member or partner countries. Thia amount can be further reduced if the applicants ask for a scholarship and provide good reasons for so doing.

Travel expenses of participants are by no means refunded.

Expenses of lecturers are 100% refunded. However travel expenses are reimbursed on the basis of economy class fares.
