Effect of evaporation rate onto the surface roughness in film formed by drying colloidal suspensions

The goal is to understand, through experiments on model colloidal suspensions, how the evaporation rate selects the way roughness get organized at the surface of films formed by drying. The interpretation of these experiments with some recent formalisms from statistical physics will then provide a better understanding of the laws uncovering the interaction between colloids and their evolution during drying.
