An experimentalist permanent researcher position in the field of Quantum Information Processing (QIP) with superconducting qubits and spins is open in the Quantronics group of the Service de Physique de l’Etat Condensé (SPEC) at CEA-Saclay. The recruited person will join Quantronics to strengthen its ongoing projects in QIP, and to contribute to initiating and developing new research directions. The qualifications required are a PhD and a significant experience in the field or closely related ones. Solid background in quantum mechanics including QIP, and experience with the manipulation and control of individual quantum systems are requested. Expertise with measurements at the quantum limit, quantum microwaves, spin physics, optics, or nanomechanics is advantageous.
