The CEA is the French Atomic Energy and Alternative Energies Commission (Commissariat à l'énergie atomique et aux énergies alternatives). The CEA is active in three main fields : Energy, information and health technologies, and defense and national security. In each of these fields, the CEA maintains a cross-disciplinary culture of engineers and researchers, building on the synergies between fundamental and technological research. The center of Saclay is conveniently located about 14 miles south of Paris. It is easily accessible from Paris by train or by car. |

Our group is part of the Interdisciplinary Department on Molecular Systems and Materials of the IRAMIS Institute at the CEA in Saclay (France). Our activities focus on basic research for the nuclear fuel cycle and alternative energies.
Award — Thibault Cantat has been awarded an ERC Starting Grant by the European Research Council for his project on catalytic CO2 transformation.
Award — Thibault Cantat has been awarded the 2013 Grand Prix Scientifique of the Fondation Louis D. by the Institut de France.
Paper Accepted — Our latest article on CO2 diagonal recycling is published in Chemical Science!

Award — Our group was awarded the 2012 Prix La Recherche (in Chemistry) for our contribution on CO2 catalytic transformation!
