Congratulations to Fabien Silly, who has been awarded a prestigious
five-year European Research Council Grant ‘ERC Starting Grant’ to support a major project developing
methods for engineering hybrid magnetic nanoarchitectures.
The European Research Council is the first European funding body designed to support investigator-driven frontier research through open and direct competition. Its aim is to stimulate scientific excellence in Europe by supporting and encouraging the very best, truly creative researchers to identify and explore new opportunities and directions in any field of science, engineering and scholarship. ERC Starting Independent Researcher Grants aim to support up-and-coming research leaders, who are about to establish or consolidate a proper research.
ERC Starting Grants of up to 1.5 Million euro are awarded for 5 years.
