22-25/09 Nordic Conference on Surface Science NCSS-5  

The four previous NCSS conferences took place in Tampere (Finland 1982), Linköping (Sweden 1987), Nyborg (Denmark 1992), and in Ålesund (Norway 1997). In keeping with the tradition of the NCSS conferences, NCSS-5 will be devoted to a broad, balanced and interdisciplinary overview of new results, emerging trends and challenges in Surface Science. The conference aims at illustrating how to utilize the unique environment of a surface or interface to design novel materials and phenomena with desired properties for both basic and technological applications. Deadline for abstract submission is April 23, 2004. Manuscript submission deadline is September 22. Programme scientifique.
