Workshop in Les Houches, from May 8th to May 13th : "Ultrafast Phenomena at Nanostructures: Attosecond Physics meets Plasmonics"

Nanoplasmonics, ultrashort pulse and attosecond physics share the need to control the electron motion in an optical field under extreme conditions, namely at manometric objects on ultrashort time scales. The combination of these topics has already led to exciting developments such as electron acceleration in enhanced fields and nanoscopic field sensors, but its full potential has barely been exploited.

This conference is jointly organized by Peter Hommelhoff, Stephan Götzinger, Takuya Higuchi, from the University of Erlangen, and Benoit Chalopin (IRSAMC, Toulouse).

Registration form (due before February 12th).
